Refund Policy
Last updated: July 21, 2026
1. Overview
At HostSafe, Inc. ("HostSafe"), we are committed to providing high-quality hosting services and customer satisfaction. We understand that circumstances may arise where a refund is requested. This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which refunds may be issued for our Services.
2. Eligibility for Refund
Refund eligibility depends on the type of service purchased:
Shared Hosting
Shared hosting plans are eligible for a full refund within 30 days of the initial purchase date. Refund requests made after 30 days will not be accepted. Renewal payments are non-refundable.
VPS Servers
VPS server plans are eligible for a full refund within 7 days of the initial purchase date. After 7 days, no refunds will be issued. This short window is due to the dedicated resources allocated upon provisioning.
Dedicated Servers
Dedicated server plans are non-refundable once provisioned. Due to the exclusive hardware resources reserved for your account, no refunds will be issued after the server has been set up.
Domain Names
Domain name registrations are non-refundable. Once a domain is registered with the registry, the registration fee cannot be returned. This applies to new registrations, transfers, and renewals.
SSL Certificates
SSL certificates are non-refundable once issued and activated. If the certificate has not been issued, a refund request may be considered within 7 days of purchase.
Email Hosting
Email hosting plans are eligible for a full refund within 30 days of the initial purchase date. Renewal payments are non-refundable.
Backup Services
Backup service plans are eligible for a full refund within 30 days of the initial purchase date. Renewal payments are non-refundable.
3. Non-Refundable Items
The following are explicitly non-refundable under all circumstances:
- Domain name registrations, transfers, and renewals.
- Server management or administration fees.
- Setup fees and one-time charges.
- Third-party software licenses or add-ons.
- Service renewals after the initial billing period.
- Services terminated due to violation of our Acceptable Use Policy or Terms of Use.
4. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, please follow these steps:
- Contact our support team via the Client Area or open a support ticket.
- Provide your account email address and the reason for the refund request.
- Include the invoice number or order ID associated with the purchase.
Our team will review your request and respond within 3–5 business days. If approved, the refund will be processed to the original payment method within 7–10 business days.
5. Late or Missing Refunds
If you haven't received a refund within the stated timeframe:
- Check your bank or credit card statement again.
- Contact your bank or payment provider — processing times may vary.
- If you've completed all of the above and still have not received your refund, contact us through support.
6. Cancellation and Refund
Canceling your service does not automatically trigger a refund. Cancellation will stop future billing, and your service will remain active until the end of the current billing period. Refund requests must be submitted separately and are subject to the eligibility criteria outlined above.
7. Exceptions
HostSafe reserves the right to issue refunds on a case-by-case basis at its sole discretion, even outside the stated refund windows. This may include situations involving extended service outages that are solely attributable to HostSafe and are not covered by our Service Level Agreement.
8. Changes to This Policy
HostSafe reserves the right to update this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. It is your responsibility to review this policy periodically.
