Configuring DNS Nameservers for Your Domain
When you register a domain with HostSafe, it is configured by default to use our high-speed global nameservers:
- ns1.hostsafe.net
- ns2.hostsafe.net
If you want to direct your domain to an external hosting provider or a third-party CDN like Cloudflare, follow these steps:
1. Log in to your HostSafe Client Area.
2. Go to "My Domains" in the left sidebar.
3. Click "Manage" next to the domain you want to update.
4. Select the "Nameservers" tab.
5. Select "Use custom nameservers" and input your new nameservers (e.g. cloudflare nameservers).
6. Click "Update Nameservers" to save.
Note: DNS changes can take up to 24-48 hours to propagate globally, although it often updates in a few hours.
